9web take part in Design Jam
The first ever Design Jam London took place on Saturday 20th November and 9web staff were lucky enough to be taking part.
The Design Jams consist of daily sessions during which people team up to solve User Experience (UX) challenges. Our brief: What is the ideal interface to track and trace relevant online content, visited across multiple devices and locations?
We started by creating - quite possibly too rapid and under-developed - personas. fleshing out requirements, looking at pitfalls and (with sound advice from our mentors on the day), decided upon a date/location-based push service.
Matt Bee, 9web front-end developer told us:
The aims of the day are to allow people to meet fellow professionals, share knowledge and learn different methods of solving a similar problem. I think that with the people met, solutions seen, quibbles noted and along with all the practical things we learned - the day was an outstanding success.
9web would like to thank Mozilla Labs, City University London and Johnny Holland for making the event happen.
